• Obituary. Funeral services for Ms.Lillian Murry Cruse, 95 of Ruston, LA., will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Greenwood Cemetery in Ruston, LA. Officiating at the services will be Rev. Truman Stagg under direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Farmerville.
Ms. Cruse was born to Robert Brooks Murry and Ethel Newsom on December 25, 1915 in Marion, LA, and passed away on October 18, 2011 in West Monroe, LA, after a brief illness. Ms. Cruse was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Ruston. She was an accomplished seamstress and needleworker and had worked for J.C. Penny.
She is preceded in death by her husbands James Lavon Boddie, and D.C. Cruse and one son, David Wayne Boddie.
She is survived by her nephews, Bennie Murray of Texarkana, TX; Tony Murray of Marion, LA; nieces, Margie Morgan of Lebanon, TN; Robbie Alford of Marion, LA; and Annice Murray of Marion, LA.
